This kit is a non-cutaway model, but features a hull and casemate with scale thicknesses to allow modification to a cutaway. This model is mostly resin parts to keep production costs down, but also features a number of cast metal fittings, brass rods, flag sheet, and detailed instructions.<\/p>\n

Special Note<\/u><\/strong>:\u00a0 The casting process for this model initially resulted in a minor shrinkage issue between the hull and deck sections. It is not a hard issue to fix in this kit, and I have experimented with, and provided an easy solution to the problem in the instructions. I feel it is only fair to provide this comment\u00a0 in view of the size and price of this model. I am also available to further explain and help anyone who encounters problems making the correction. As always, my guarantee to provide new parts if you break, lose, or are missing anything stands. I am happy to help.<\/p>\n
